Social Media Connections

Last night I presented a “case for connecting with students on social media” during the first Ed Tea meeting in Riga (more on this later). The logic is thus:

1. Students need guidance, models, supervision, and interventions in order to successfully navigate social media.

2. Parents are typically unable to offer such support.

3. Teachers can, and should, fill the gaps.
